Salisu Idris, 40, was allegedly slashed in the genitalia by her recentlywed wife Habiba Ibrahim while he was asleep.
The victim claimed that when he was resting on his bed, his wife unexpectedly rushed on him, slashed off his manhood, and used a sharp knife.
Idris claimed that as soon as they heard him yell, his neighbors hurried to his aid.
They were married roughly four months ago, as Idris told news reporters, and he couldn’t understand why she did what she did because they were in love and there had been no prior misunderstanding before the attack.
Idris was sent to the General Hospital Makarfi after being taken to a hospital in Kudan.
After that, he was brought to the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital in Zaria, where medical professionals fought to preserve his life.
“I am currently more worried about my health. He said, “I am afraid to get married again because of this incident,” midway through a chat with news reporters.
Even though they are not dwelling in the same complex, Idris’ mother, Rabi Salisu, who tends to him on the hospital bed, added that he had never complained to her about his wife.
She replied, “Her parents are concerned and are willing to pay for his medical bills.”
