In a 2021 interview with Accra’s Kingdom FM, Kumawood star Kwaku Manu boldly claimed that he was the one who discovered fellow actor Lilwin and thrust him into the public eye.
Kwaku Manu stated that he met Lilwin many years ago and was struck by his charisma right away, which inspired him to assist Lilwin in achieving his goal of becoming a well-known actor.
Kwaku Manu expressed his disappointment, saying he was angry that Lilwin had supposedly kept this information from the public for a long time.
Kwaku Manu has denied being the one who discovered Lilwin, though, according to renowned Kumawood producer and director Jackson K. Bentum.
