The state has filed a lawsuit against Henry Fitz, the purported ex-boyfriend of Serwaa Amihere.
Henry Amponsah, also known as Henry Fitz, and two other individuals are facing charges from the state for uploading his bedroom tape on social media with Serwaa Amihere.
A video that appeared on social media last week featuring Serwaa Amihere and Henry in bed became the talk of the town.
It was claimed that Henry sought to use the video to blackmail Serwaa Amihere into giving him money once it became viral, and when he was unable to do so, he released the footage into the public domain.
Henry Fitz, Edem Saviour Ketti, and Candylove Kwakyewaa Ababio conspired to extort money from Serwaa Amihere, according to the lawsuit filed in the Dansoman court.
The suit claims that on December 3, 2023, the three (3) approached the presenter and demanded GHC $5,000 from her, or else they would release their bedroom film and damage her reputation.
In 2024, on April 2, they threatened her once more, demanding GHC 20,000 or they would leak the footage.
The lawsuit went on to say that because she didn’t give them the money, they published the video, which was purportedly shot without Serwaa Amihere’s permission.
